Asian Paints Q2 results: Net profit flat at Rs 830 cr; firm announces interim dividend of Rs 3.35 per share
Asian Paints on Wednesday posted a 0.84 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit at Rs 830.37 crore for the quarter ended September 30. Analysts polled by ETNOW had projected the figure at Rs 720 crore.
It had posted Rs 823.41 crore profit for the corresponding quarter last year.
The paint major also announced an interim dividend of Rs 3.35 per equity share for the financial year ending March 31, 2021.
Consolidated revenue from operations increased 5.93 per cent YoY to Rs 5,350.23 crore.
